The Anchor Hierarchy — overview

Status box (read first). This page explains the anchor hierarchy. It does not prove the whole theory, derive all roots from nothing, or prove absolute uniqueness. The framework bottoms out in seven deep roots. Downstream claims must be generated, measured, charged, audit-only, open, blocked, or anti-claimed.

1. One-line thesis

Physics must bottom out in invariant operational roots, then use observable/auditable anchors to test concrete gate claims.

Everything in the /anchors/ section is organized as a single descending chain of accountability:

Deep roots → master / fundamental anchors → gate-specific closure anchors → gate status

Read left to right, this is what grounds what. Read right to left, it is what every gate claim is status-limited by. No object on this page floats: each named anchor is typed as a deep root, a master anchor, a gate anchor, a measured input, an audit artifact, an open residual, or an anti-claim. This page is the map of that chain. It is a traceability map, not an absolute-uniqueness proof — it shows how every later anchor page hangs off the roots, not that the roots (or the shape) are forced.

2. Status header — roots are not all theorem-grade

The framework bottoms out in seven deep roots. These roots are not all theorem-grade. Some are close to operational tautologies about how any theory meets evidence at all; some are declared posits we adopt with eyes open; one (Shape) is an explicitly selected and frozen structural branch, not a derived or absolutely-unique object. We label each root with one of the allowed status labels below and never silently upgrade it. In particular we do not claim the seven roots are proven, and we do not claim the 13D shape is absolutely unique.

The strongest honest statement the whole hierarchy defends is bounded:

Given the frozen 13D shape $M_4 \times K_6 \times S^2 \times S^1_Y/\mathbb{Z}_2$ (with $K_6 = SU(3)/T^2$) and given the observed Standard-Model matter content $E$, the framework reads off the SM gauge algebra, three chiral generations, and charge quantization from geometry. The shape itself remains a declared, frozen anchor — not a uniqueness theorem.

Three discipline lines travel with every page and are never dropped: selection ≠ derivation · given-$E$ ≠ derivation-of-$E$ · frozen/reproducible ≠ proven-unique.

Allowed status labels (the only vocabulary used on this page): DECLARED ROOT · GENERATED · DERIVED-GIVEN-E · MEASURED · CHARGED · AUDIT ONLY · OPEN · BLOCKED · ANTI-CLAIM.

3. Seven deep roots summary

The hierarchy bottoms out in exactly these seven roots, in this order:

  1. Physical Equivalence / Invariance Root
  2. Record Interface Root
  3. Causal Order Root
  4. Granularity / Cost-Floor Root
  5. Scale Root
  6. Shape Root
  7. Nonseparability / Global State Constraint Root

Each root carries an operational statement, an honest status label, and what it supports. Every downstream master anchor is traceable to at least one of these roots; nothing downstream is admissible under the hierarchy without such a trace.

Required table — Deep roots overview

Root Operational statement Status Supports
Invariance Physics is invariant content under admissible redescription; coordinate, gauge, representation, and observer-frame choices are not physical unless they leave invariant content. DECLARED ROOT (near-tautological audit premise; not a theorem) The observer-invariance requirement on every master anchor; the A0 scoring rule; "no unpaid exact labels."
Record Interface Physics is accessed through finite reproducible records — measured quantities, exact ledgers, reproducible hashes, gate certificates, named falsifiers. DECLARED ROOT (operational premise about how any theory meets evidence) The finite-observable master anchor; the audit artifacts (hashes/manifests, AUDIT ONLY); freeze-before-compare.
Causal Order There is an invariant structure of possible influence; admissible records respect that order. DECLARED ROOT (declared, not derived here) Causal/light-cone consistency of gate constructions; the no-signalling constraint paired with Nonseparability.
Granularity / Cost-Floor Distinguishable physical transitions are not free — there is a nonzero physical cost floor; infinite-distinguishability idealizations are not physically realized. DECLARED ROOT (cost-floor posit; corpus axiom R1) The full-generator cost / MDL pressure master anchor; the description-length simplicity order. We do not claim full-generator cost / MDL is absolutely proven against every competing metric.
Scale At least one absolute dimensionful scale is required (Buckingham-$\pi$ forces $\geq 1$ dimensionful anchor); $M_{\rm Pl}$ is the accepted value anchor. DECLARED ROOT + the value $M_{\rm Pl}$ is MEASURED The $M_{\rm Pl}$ master anchor; the calibration-anchor vector; unit/bridge constants $c,\hbar,k_B$.
Shape The frozen structural branch $M_4 \times K_6 \times S^2 \times S^1_Y/\mathbb{Z}_2$ ($K_6 = SU(3)/T^2$) is the object being tested; it is selected / frozen, not absolutely unique. DECLARED ROOT (selected/frozen; uniqueness OPEN) The frozen-13D-branch master anchor; all DERIVED-GIVEN-E gate readouts. We do not claim the 13D shape is absolutely unique.
Nonseparability / Global State Constraint Exact independence requires factorization; local records condition the global state, with no signalling. DECLARED ROOT (global-sector / no-signalling posit) Global-sector completion anchors; the $E_{\rm SM}$ / matter-bundle global constraints. We do not claim measurement/nonseparability sends a usable superluminal signal (ANTI-CLAIM).

4. Master / fundamental anchors summary

The master anchors are the framework-wide, observable/auditable objects that sit one level below the roots. Each one is traceable to a root and is the currency in which gate claims are charged or measured. None is a free label.

Detail page: Master / Fundamental Anchors — every master anchor traces to a root.

5. Gate anchor summary

Below the master anchors, each gate has its own anchor ledger page. The rule is uniform: a gate page lists the exact objects the gate touches, the status of each (using only the allowed labels), the allowed claim, the forbidden claim, and the open residual. This is where "the rule-set applied" lives.

The key discipline: local gate closure is not whole-gate closure. A gate may have a real, checkable local win (e.g. an anomaly book that balances exactly by rational arithmetic for the frozen spectrum) while other legs still owe their own terminals — a gate closes only when every leg reaches a ratified endpoint. The canonical worked example is the hypercharge/anomaly gate (SG-4): the local arithmetic is a genuine DERIVED-GIVEN-E win, and the local win does not by itself select the Standard Model. Specifically, anomaly cancellation is a filter, not a selector — the observed spectrum passes $A(E_{\rm SM}) = 0$; it is not picked out by it, so $E$ stays a CHARGED primitive. We do not claim anomaly cancellation selects the Standard Model. That is exactly how SG-4 closes on the board — RESOLVED at +0 with the given-$E$ charge displayed in the open, the cost counted rather than hidden — and it is how all 33 gates close: 33 resolved at +0 · 0 anchored at +1 · 0 open, with 0 of 33 physics-closed stated plainly beside the count.

Every gate page is built to one reusable template, so each gate follows the same shape and the same ledger columns.

6. Traceability diagram

The whole system reduces to one walk, applied uniformly to every gate claim:

$$ \textbf{Deep root} \;\longrightarrow\; \textbf{master anchor} \;\longrightarrow\; \textbf{gate anchor} \;\longrightarrow\; \textbf{claim status} $$

In words, and with the typing made explicit at every hop:

Deep root → master anchor → gate anchor → claim status
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Invariance → no unpaid exact labels → gate's exact label objects → GENERATED / CHARGED / OPEN
Record Interface → finite invariant records → gate certificates/falsifier → AUDIT ONLY / MEASURED
Causal Order → causal-consistency anchor → gate construction order → DECLARED ROOT-limited
Granularity/Cost-Floor → full-generator cost (MDL) → gate's charged primitives → CHARGED / OPEN
Scale → M_Pl ; c, ħ, k_B → gate's dimensionful inputs → MEASURED / CHARGED
Shape → frozen 13D branch → gate's geometric readout → DERIVED-GIVEN-E
Nonseparability → E_SM / matter bundle → gate's global-sector data → CHARGED / OPEN / ANTI-CLAIM

A claim is admissible under the hierarchy only if it can be walked back along this chain to a root, and it carries the qualifiers of every anchor on its path — shown openly beside the claim, never rolled into a hedge. A DERIVED-GIVEN-E readout is therefore never stronger than the given-$E$ charge it rests on.

8. Forbidden overclaims box

Forbidden overclaims — any reviewer should be able to confirm that none appears anywhere on this page.

  • "The seven roots are proven." — They are not; roots are not all theorem-grade.
  • "The shape is unique." — The 13D shape is selected/frozen, not absolutely unique.
  • "A local win closes the whole gate." — Local closure ≠ whole-gate closure; a gate closes only when every leg reaches its ratified terminal. (The board does stand at 33 resolved at +0 · 0 open — earned leg by leg under exactly this rule, with 0 of 33 physics-closed said plainly beside it.)
  • "The anchor hierarchy proves the Standard Model." — It is a traceability map, not a proof.
  • "Hashes validate the physics." — Hashes validate frozen-object identity / audit integrity only.
  • "Collapse signals across the universe." — Nonseparability sends no usable superluminal signal (ANTI-CLAIM).

Global forbidden overclaims (also obeyed throughout): we do not claim all deep roots are theorem-grade; we do not claim the 13D shape is absolutely unique; we do not claim $E$ is derived (it is given / charged / bundled into Shape unless a separate bundle-uniqueness proof is supplied); we do not claim local gate closure equals whole-gate closure; we do not claim hashes validate physics; we do not claim anomaly cancellation selects the Standard Model; we do not claim MDL / full-generator cost is absolutely proven against every competing metric; we do not claim measurement / nonseparability sends a usable superluminal signal.
