# (1) RECOMMENDED READING ORDER + THE TIME-TO-UNDERSTANDING ON-RAMP

Assembled from the four frozen manuscripts. Every entry resolves to an anchor that already
exists in the source document; nothing here is new. **DRAFT — pending countersign (see
the referee-aid readme §0).**

## A. RECOMMENDED READING ORDER (corpus-level)

The four papers form a hierarchy (stated in [Quantum](https://physics.magflowmeters.com/articles/Quantum.html) §1):

```
Paper 1 — Fable_GUT      (active branch, SM routing, flavor, proton safety, freeze records)
Paper 2 — Fable_Forces   (the four-force C-FF0..C-FF14 interface backbone)
Paper 3 — Fable_Quantum  (Unified Quantum Force Completion; Σ = AUDIT)
Capstone — TOE_FINAL     (state-of-programme ledger; authoritative tie-breaker)
```

**Suggested corpus order for a referee, by goal:**

- **To judge the strongest banked claim first:** start at **Paper 1 (GUT)** — it is the only
  paper making a *certificate* claim (scoped-GUT Gates 1–10). It is the load-bearing one.
- **To judge honesty/discipline:** start at the **TOE_FINAL capstone §V truth table**, then its
  STRONGEST OBJECTIONS section. The capstone is where every gap is dispositioned in exactly one
  terminal state with its falsifier attached.
- **To judge the least-over-claimed material:** **Paper 2 (Forces)** is an interface/consistency
  paper that re-closes no gate; **Paper 3 (Quantum)** prints its own weakest link (Σ = AUDIT) on
  the cover.
- **Authoritative tie-breaker rule:** where the manuscripts conflict, [TOE](https://physics.magflowmeters.com/articles/TOE.html)
  (newest ledger) wins (per the internal source-of-truth record §3). One known within-corpus lag is
  logged: Quantum §15 carries a stale S-7 status vs the capstone's Gap-04 closure.

**Per-paper internal reading order (each has a Reviewer Navigation block):**

- **GUT ([article](https://physics.magflowmeters.com/articles/GUT.html)):** "Reviewer Navigation" routes by reader type. E.g. *Skeptic /
  decision-maker* → WHY THIS MATTERS → the "How fast can a skeptic check this?" box → THE
  STRONGEST OBJECTIONS, ANSWERED → §11 (geometry builds a machine) → Conclusion gate table +
  Claim Boundary ledger. *PhD physicist* → Abstract → §§1–2B → App. B1/B2 → App. C summary →
  Gates D–L. *JPL / systems engineer* → Reviewer First Read → §6 → App. R0 → App. O. (Full table
  in the manuscript's "Reviewer Navigation".)
- **Forces ([article](https://physics.magflowmeters.com/articles/Forces.html)) §0:** generalists skim to §0.4 (fast-check scoreboard) +
  §0.4.1 (Test It Yourself); §0.1–§0.3 are the hostile reviewer's entry point. "Attack first"
  target: the composite map π_QED ∘ π_weak (C-FF8) — if that factorization is not a real map,
  the routing collapses.
- **Quantum ([article](https://physics.magflowmeters.com/articles/Quantum.html)) UQFC-0:** read §3 (the 17-gate stack + status
  vocabulary) before any later section; every downstream claim routes back to a UQF gate ID.
- **TOE ([article](https://physics.magflowmeters.com/articles/TOE.html)) "Reader map":** two audit paths — *Physicist auditing the
  closures* → §0 Precise → §I → §II/§III → Appendix P; *Reviewer auditing honesty* → §V first →
  THE STRONGEST OBJECTIONS, ANSWERED → §VI → §VIII → Appendix P.

## B. THE TIME-TO-UNDERSTANDING ON-RAMP (10s / 5min / 1hr / weekend)

Each document carries its own ladder. They are transcribed below verbatim-faithful, with exact
source locations. **The reading contract is identical in all four: each rung is a complete,
correct takeaway on its own — the reader is never asked to hold a promise that only pays off
later.**

### TOE_FINAL (capstone) — "What you can correctly take away, by how long you read"

| If you have… | You can correctly walk away knowing | Where |
|---|---|---|
| **~10 seconds** | The one-line thesis: one 13D shape, four measured numbers, a rule that the theory must publish every place it is wrong — and so far it has passed every test it could run, and published in full the one place it failed. | THE ONE-LINE THESIS (top) |
| **~5 minutes** | The BIG IDEA + one analogy: more answers than questions = *constrained, not fitted*; the rigidity intuition pump (coset, turnstile, loop-memory — none has a dial). | THE BIG IDEA; §0 intuition pump |
| **~1 hour** | The core argument chain (§0→§I→§II→§III→§IV) **plus five paste-ready checks** — the live anomaly witness 3·(1/6) − 1/2 = 0, the input/output economy count, and three more. | §I; the *Test it yourself* box; EXTERNAL siblings |
| **A weekend or longer** | The banked derivations and their certificates — read §V, then pull any link to its one authority (Papers 1–3, Appendix O of the GUT sibling). | §V; EXTERNAL register |

### Paper 1 — GUT — "How fast can a skeptic check this?" (Reviewer First Read)

- **10 seconds:** the one-line thesis (top of document).
- **5 minutes:** the BIG IDEA box + intuition pump ② (over-determination: 19+ frozen outputs
  from 4 read inputs, fixed *before* the data were read).
- **One check by hand in 5 minutes:** the ×,⊕,⊗ ledger reproduces the textbook Einstein–Maxwell
  field energy to six significant figures (Appendix O.4), and the anomaly cancels on one line:
  3·(1/6) − 1/2 = 0 (Appendix E′, Gate 5). These are the first two of the five *Test it yourself*
  prompts.
- **1 hour:** the core chain — the inversion (§1.3) → the shape M₄ × K_gauge × F⁺ (§2) → four
  anchors in / 19+ out (§1.3.1, worked in §8) → the freeze-before-compare discipline (§4.9, R0).
- **A weekend:** the gate certificates (Appendices D–L), the threshold ledger (Appendix G), and
  `reproduce_all.py` (R0).

### Paper 2 — Forces — "WHAT YOU CAN TAKE AWAY — IN 10 SECONDS, 5 MINUTES, AN HOUR, A WEEKEND"

- **~10 seconds (the thesis):** four forces are the symmetries of one small frozen shape, and the
  same shape builds a quantum computer.
- **~5 minutes (big idea + one picture):** THE BIG IDEA + the §5.1 intuition pump — a *force* is a
  way to move the internal shape without changing it (an isometry), so the gauge groups are
  *counted off* a shape you cannot reshape — the five force-strengths carry **zero new dials**
  (§1.2.1).
- **~1 hour (core chain + one by-hand check):** §5 (the four projections) → §1.2.1 (zero-dials
  economy) → the fast-check scoreboard (§0.4). Verify the electroweak anomaly witness
  3·(1/6) − 1/2 = 0 (§8.6.4) yourself; read the two textbook-recovery ladders — Newtonian gravity
  ∇²Φ = 4πGρ (§6.6.9) and Coulomb E = Q/4πε₀r² (§9.6.3) — or run the five copy-paste checks
  (§0.4.1). At the end you can say which routings reduce to known physics and which are honestly
  scoped out.
- **~a weekend (the derivations):** §§6–9 module-by-module against the §5.6 backbone-coverage
  table and the Appendix Q certificates, then §13/§13a for the falsifier surface.

### Paper 3 — Quantum — Reader-map time budget

| Time budget | What you correctly walk away with |
|---|---|
| **~10 seconds** | The thesis: surviving *quantization* (not writing the forces) is where unification dies; this paper runs all four through a 17-gate stress-test and prints its own weakest link as the headline (Σ = AUDIT). |
| **~5 minutes** | The BIG IDEA box + one analogy: the min-rule is *weakest-link-on-the-cover*; AUDIT is a report card showing its lowest grade on purpose; the geometry builds a machine. |
| **~1 hour** | The core chain (concepts 1→6) **plus one fast check by hand** — the graviton's 10 − 4 − 4 = 2 polarization count, or the canonical↔path-integral two-point match (the box just below the ladder). |
| **a weekend+** | The derivations: §§5–8 (quantization, positivity, graviton), §§9–13 (per-force certificates), §11 (corpus reconciliation), Appendix U (machine certificates). |

## C. NOTE ON THE 1-HOUR RUNG (consistent across all four)

Every paper's 1-hour rung pairs the *core argument chain* with **at least one by-hand check**
and points to the embedded "Test it yourself" prompts. The two universal by-hand checks the
ladders converge on are the same two an afternoon referee should run first:

1. The one-line anomaly witness **3·(1/6) − 1/2 = 0** (GUT App. E′ / Forces §8.6.4 / Quantum §7
   cubic rows; ~30 seconds, no tools).
2. The Einstein–Maxwell field-energy reproduction **U_EM = 4.49378×10⁸ J to six sig figs**
   (GUT Appendix O.4; the ×,⊕,⊗ ledger returns the textbook digits object-for-object).

These are detailed in `02_FAST_VERIFIABILITY_AFTERNOON_CHECKS.md`.
